What is The Curious Classroom?

The Curious Classroom creates activity-led resources that help children ask questions, think critically and understand the world around them.

From rules and laws to news, history, identity and justice, our resources go beyond simply learning facts. Children investigate big topics, explore different perspectives and decide what they think for themselves.

We also create practical resources for parents, carers and curious grown-ups to encourage curiosity and critical thinking at home.

Our resources can be used at home, as part of home education or alongside classroom learning.

Because curious children don’t just learn about the world. They learn to question it.

Meet Our Founder

The Curious Classroom was founded by Dr Nisha Waller, a criminologist, researcher and mum with a passion for helping children become confident, curious and critical thinkers. Drawing on her background in research and education, she created The Curious Classroom to give children the space to go beyond traditional learning, ask questions, explore big ideas, think deeply about the world around them and learn to think for themselves.
